Official Teaser for “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” Has Been Released!

The Official Trailer for “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” Teaser Trailer Has Been Released!
Friends, it's time to return to Fantastic Beasts to see familiar faces and go on new adventures! Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has finally been revealed with the official teaser trailer!

Eddie Redmayne returns as the loveable, nurturing magizoologist Newt Scamander in the second of projected five films. Writer J.K. Rowling pens the screenplay where the Hufflepuff is reuniting with a familiar face Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) and a new foe Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

#WandsReady, witches and wizards? Let's take a look!

From the official press release:
Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. The cast also includes, Zoƫ Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram. This epic sequel is slated for release on November 16, 2018!

Warwick Davis at Disney's Star Wars Weekend 2013

Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis attended the 2013 Star Wars Weekend event held at Disney World in Orlando, FL. At Hollywood Studios, Davis among other cast members of the George Lucas franchise participated in autograph signings and discussion panels.

Davis also performed a short comedy show titled An Ewok's Tale. In one of the small-sized theaters at the amusement park, guests attended a brief show where the actor portrayed a bit of his life story as an Ewok and other memorable roles such as Professor Flitwick from the Harry Potter franchise.

On stage, Warwick chose guests out of the crowd to re-enact moments of his career such as George Lucas hiring him for Star Wars as well as Hermione Granger giving Ron Weasley advice on how to perform  Wingardium Leviosa.

I was lucky enough to attend the last performance of his show, and it was an enjoyable treat to see Davis in person! Below is a Harry Potter part of the performance.

Harry Potter in 13 Minutes, A Retrospective

There are a plethora of exquisite fan videos of The Harry Potter series on YouTube. However, one that has been catching buzz around the internet, and no one can blame it, is film editor Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr. 13 minute retrospective of all eight Harry Potter films. It's titled Mischief Managed. Using scenes from Sorcerer's Stone to the very end with Deathly Hallows Part II, the compilation video takes you on the thrilling journey we experienced for eleven years.

If you haven't checked it out yet, I definitely suggest you should. And, have tissues on hand. Lots and LOTS of tissues! Enjoy!

For the tracklist and video credits be sure to check out its official youtube page.

Young Harry Potter Cast Answers Fan Questions in Today's Video Flashback

In today's Video Flashback, we take a look at CNN Exclusive, where several members of the cast answered fans questions as The Half Blood Prince film was being released, and filming for Deathly Hallows Part 1 began. (For any reason that the video does not work, a summary below!)

Felton, who had been asked 'What did he do to prepare for the sixth film considering his role is a lot bigger in this film than the others?' answered that he calmed his nerves with David Yates and didn't do a lot of socializing on set.

Daniel Radcliffe gave a disappointing answer to a rather excellent question (his remarks!) - What preparation he does to play Harry Potter, considering he is quite an obsessive reader of literature. He replied that he doesn't add a lot of literary characteristics that he reads to his performances, though he does sometimes commit to memorize lines of poetry and film. And, mostly ends up forgetting them when actually filming.

Rupert Grint responded to how he can feel lost while filming scenes out of continuity and out of sequence, and David Yates expressed praised for the film production and crew, and briefly described how the creatures for the films are built through paintings, then drawing drafts, and the actual construction.

And to end the video interview, Emma Watson remarked that her favorite scene to film for the Half Blood Prince was when Hermione helps Ron Weasley succeed in his Quidditch game tryouts.

Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 2 Trailer Release

I've seen a trailer for Deathly Hallows Part 2, and I've seen an entirely different trailer for Deathly Hallows Part 2. But, I never found one that combined scenes from both films. This one little trailer gem I found on YouTube, definitely catapults any HP fan into the ending of the series. Hope you check it out and makes you want to watch the final two movies again - like it does for me!

Deathly Hallows Part 2 Dvd Release 11/11/11

Not only am I in favor of sharing this video because it's just darn-tooting cool, but perhaps it will help us all get pumped up for watching our newly acquired Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two dvd! I popped down to my local dvd store, which was holding a small, not very celebratory party, to buy my copy. Once I returned home,  I grabbed some ice cream and popped in the disc - the first of many future viewings!

How did you, or will you, celebrate the final dvd released?

YouTube Streams the Final Harry Potter Premiere

When the final premiere of Deathly Hallows Part 2 aired on YouTube, I really only caught the last part of it with the speeches from the cast and J.K. Rowling. That's just how slow of a Potterhead, I am!

Well, just today I discovered the official Harry Potter Channel and was surprised to see that the entire premiere is still on there. Nothing wrong with reliving the experience, eh?

The energy is still electrifying and catches up to me unexpectedly, emotionally. I'm amazed by even though it was the end for so many, it's also the beginning for so many other fans that will come into the series. Oh, the beauty of YouTube and how memories can be relived. :D

I haven't discovered my favorite HP YouTube video yet, though I watch a lot of the cast interviews and such (my favorites will regularly be posted!).

Do you have a favorite video of the moment?
What were your emotions watching the final premiere?
